It’s ALL On Purpose
Magic is around us at every moment trying to get our attention. Now, I remind myself to LOOK UP. I see birds and rainbows and numbers in a whole new way.
My world just blew wide open….
I just spent a week on the Jersey Shore with my family. It is literally my favorite beaches in the world. Why? Because I have been going there my whole life and I feel a sense of connection to myself and those beaches and the whole unique culture there that invites me to feel incredibly alive. I literally feel like I fall into an abyss when I am there, to the point it feels like a challenge to answer an email or look at the news. I just immerse myself in the “Jersey” experience. I also think Jerseyians are some of the most resilient, grit-filled beings I have come across and I take pride that I take some of that with me wherever I go. So needless to say, I choose my beach book wisely. Something inspiring, not to over complicated and fun to share, my nieces who love to read too and LOVE to talk about what they are reading so its one of the joys we do on the beach blanket.
I picked the book SIGNS, The Secret of the Universe by Laura Lynn Jackson and it has opened my life up in unexpected ways. I have believed in angels and guides for most of my life and have a mediation practice and am familiar with working in the 5D reality but this book opened up a whole new world for me in communicating with the “other side” as she calls it. Laura is a renowned psychic medium and through this book she teaches us that connecting with the other side is available to all of us, we just have to open up to it, ask, receive. Understanding "the secret language of the universe" is a gift available to all. As we learn to ask for and recognize signs from the other side, we will start to find meaning where before there may have been confusion or fear. It teaches us to see light in the darkness. She brings the mystical to our everyday life. She explains this through tools and tips to connect as well as through stories of others who have experienced revelations and synchronicities. It also teaches that we are all connected, and we each are lightworkers and signs for others. I LOVE THAT!
Ok so I decided to try it three times so far and all three times it was call and response.
I asked for a sign of purple hearts to let me know I was on the right path with my work since I have decided to recreate my work this past year and literally begin again. I was scouring the beach blankets and beach chairs looking for a purple heart somewhere…nothing happened. Then, the next day, I popped into a clothing store and on the rack of literally all solid color of the same shirt, there was one sleeveless sweater that had purple hearts all over it and it was a totally different style. I was immediately drawn to it and it wasn’t until I was in the dressing room that I realized, ITS MY PURPLE HEARTS! I got so excited I bought the sweater even though it was a little big, I know I will wear it and remember…
My brother… he doesn’t talk from a degenerative dis-ease he has called meta-chromatic leukodystrophy. His life expectancy was 25 years and he is currently 51 years old. A true miracle. His body isn’t working much at all anymore but he talks with his eyes and with his smile. I was sitting looking at him and wondering what our lives will be like without him and all of a sudden, he started singing, he wasn’t saying the words but he was humming at first quiet and then loudly and he was staring at me dead on and I held his gaze and then I realized the song… My Heart Will Go On by Celine Dion was playing in the background. He was communicating with me through the song. And he had tears and I had tears and snot running down my nose and we just held each other in the gaze, and I said, I get it, I hear you and I get it, WE ARE TOGETHER FOREVER. It was my sign.
I am a fearful flyer, unfortunately, I really lose it internally when there is turbulence at 35,000 ft. My grandma was always a worrier and never flew because of her fear and sometimes I joke that I got that gene. She crossed about 12 years ago. On my way back from Jersey to Denver, it was all get out bumpy and I was fretting, looking out the window and I started talking to my grandma and asked her for a sign of hearts and angels in the clouds to let me know I am safe. Well, she got to work quickly because I kid you not, the whole 4 hours, I kept seeing angels and hearts but I wasn’t sure I could believe it and then I looked at the time on my phone and it said 444 and I knew I had a song downloaded on my phone with 444hz as I use frequencies often in my work and life and the song title read just like this: 444hz You Are Protected By Angels. WOW. GOT IT.
This book has brought me into such a presence and an awareness that the universe is speaking with me always, AND its a practice to remember! So often I might have my head down looking at my phone or thinking 10 steps ahead of where I am without realizing the Magic is around us at every moment trying to get our attention. Now, I remind myself to LOOK UP. I see birds and rainbows and numbers in a whole new way. IT’S ALL ON PURPOSE. I feel a new level of connection and joy knowing there is a much bigger picture at play and the universe has my back and yours, I am sure of it, no one is excluded. We are connected to our loved ones (including pets!) that have crossed and they want to connect with us, that our guides are looking out for us and are there to support us and when we ask for something clearly and in a connected way they show up. I know too that there is a universal love that is bigger and stronger and more expansive than we can ever imagine. It is always there for us, all we need to do is to remember. As I read this book, I could feel in my bones, the truth to it, it was a coming home for me of what was already inside, I just needed to dust it off and let it SHINE once again. It was no mistake that this is the book I chose at this time in my life.
Practice: I invite you…
Find a quiet space, take some long deep breaths, focus on your breathing and let any busy thoughts fall into the background. I like to focus on breathing in and out of my heart center and feel it getting bigger and bigger connecting with the universal love within and all around me. Then talk to your guides, ask for support clearly, ask for a sign from a loved one that has crossed. Then be open to noticing and receiving…see how your life begins to open up and change, see the synchronicities. It takes a slowing down as we can miss the signs if we aren’t in a place of openness, presence and receptivity. Allow it to come to you and believe it when it does.
