Enion Pelta-Tiller, violinist, singer and co-founder and co-leader of acclaimed string band Taarka, has performed string band music with acts ranging from front-range grown mega-stars Yonder Mountain String Band, local progressive bluegrass up-and comers The Railsplitters, and numerous other acoustic groups for 16 years. A musician of wide interests and big ears, Enion, dubbed the “bluegrass Bjork” by friends The Shook Twins, is taking a foray into the world of electrified music, exploring the intersections of folk, classical, pop, and jazz. Her intrepid co-adventurers include Boulder-bred guitarist Mike Robinson (also of Taarka, and the Jeff Austin Band), bassist Greg Garrison (Punch Brothers, Leftover Salmon), pianist/vocalist/composer Paul Fowler (Robert Mirabal), and drummer Kevin Matthews.
